We believe that delicious, nutritious and well-balanced meals are the cornerstone of a positive camp experience. Our partnership with Greenbrier Farms allows us to design and implement our Farm-To-Table menus with organic beef, pork and seasonal produce that are grown specifically for our program.
A salad bar is available for all campers during lunch and dinner, and meal alternatives are available for the pickiest of eaters. Our meals are served family style, along with weekly cookouts and our Saturday morning brunch buffet. Special medical dietary needs can be met with prior arrangements.
During breakfast, lunch, and dinner, six campers and two counselors gather around a table to enjoy family-style meals. Table manners are emphasized to create a pleasant dining experience for all. Counselors serve each plate and make sure that even the pickiest eaters are accommodated. Meals that are served outside of the dining hall, including Picnic Supper and Slide Supper,feature cookouts,freshly baked cookies, and an extra helping of fun.
In addition to nourishing our bodies, the time spent together at mealtimes feeds our souls. A different blessing is sung before each meal, and lively conversation takes place at every table. Spontaneous songs, table tricks, birthday celebrations, and announcements about the upcoming day at camp all help to create a sense of community.
