Glen Arden girls explore the mountains, rivers, and wilderness of Western North Carolina.
Glen Arden’s greatest resource is the wilderness. The camp property itself is crisscrossed by trails to hike and bike. The streams and falls provide endless opportunities for creek walks and water play. Each Saturday we gather at our very own rock slide for a cookout and the chance to slide down the smooth rock into the clear, cold pool below. The surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains are known for the rocks to climb, rivers to paddle, and trails to explore – and we offer multiple trips into the wilderness as part of our camp stay.
